Creative Assistant - Edit & VFX

Short term remote freelance contract. 3-6 weeks.

 

Reactiv is seeking a creative assistant with a focus on Editing and Visual Effects to start immidately 2-6 week duration.

 

The Creative Assistant works closely with our Creative Director and Producer to develop and execute visceral and emotionally aressting visuals on time and on budget, while providing support to our network for freelance digital artists.

This position is perfect for a recent grad. The ideal candidate has basic understanding of Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a passion for editing, visual effects and animation - along with a keen interest in short form content (commercials, title sequences, music videos).

 

Technical Requirements

• A dicerning eye for design, composition, motion, pacing, editoral flow and colour.
• Basic understanding of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Undetstanding of Slack for daily communcation
• Background in post production either through college/university or minimum 1 year of professional experience working in post-production.

Compensation: $1,500 CAD/week
