Piece By Piece is a video written and directed by our own Alon Isocianu for Kelly Clarkson.  The piece features portraits of women from all walks of life - mothers, sisters, daughters - each giving us a small, impactful glimpse into their personal story. Kelly’s performance anchors the video in a powerful and emotional way. Reactiv was also responsible for the editorial and visual effects in the video.

In addition to Alon’s direction on set, we were also tasked with creating the luminescent visual effects in the video that were added during post production. These included floating orbs of light and other luminious particle effects that represented hope and the positivity of the human spirit.

We used practical lighting effects to dynamically illuminate the talent on set. This allowed for more interactive lighting & shadows between our computer generated lighting orbs & particles and the talent themselves.
