A Beginner's Guide to Endings is a 2010 film by Jonathan Sobol, starring Harvey Keitel, Scott Cann, and Paulo Costanzo. We were tasked with creating the visuals for the opening credits. The film premiered at a gala screening at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival. 

We worked alongside director Jonathan Sobol to craft a unique opening sequence that felt stylized and energetic. The tone of the film is comedic yet somewhat gritty and dark. We wanted to capture this tone using a bold and fun color palate, but mixing it with harsh vectorized artwork and various gritty textures. The piece started as a nod to old Saul Bass style titles but then evolved into a more photo-driven approach, using shots from the film itself that are treated as graphical elements.
